Kathy Marlia (Torrence) Long

Kathy M. Torrence Long age 63 of Greensboro. NC gained her wings on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Kathy was born November 12, 1957 in Sanford NC, daughter of the late Curtis and Helen Virginia Torrence.

Kathy loved visiting her family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very creative person who enjoyed designing her own clothes or whatever she would get her hands on.       

Kathy was a great mother, grandmother and sister to her family. Kathy was dedicated to those that were in her life; no matter how far they lived she would always make it her business to visit them.     

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard V. Long Sr.; her parents; and sister, Ronda D. Torrence.

Kathy is survived by her son, Willard Maurice Long Jr.; daughter, Benita Long of Greensboro, NC; brother, Curtis L. Torrence Jr., sisters, Myra Torrence and Deborah Torrence all of Sanford, NC; three grandchildren, TyQuan Rowling and Tanner Long of Greensboro, NC and Makayla Long of Washington, DC; one niece, Shadae McNair of Raleigh, NC; two uncles, Woody McNeill and William Floyd McNeill and a host of other relatives and friends.
