Master Kaiden Michael DeFazio, age 7 of Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.
Kaiden was a 2nd-grade student at J.R. Ingram Elementary School.
Kaiden was a light to everyone he came in contact with, even during his fight with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) he fought to help his friends in the SMA Community. Kaiden loved to go to restaurants and have his cup of ice. He loved playing Switch with his family, being a monster with Mommy, and watching soccer and hockey with Daddy. Every day was filled with love, happiness, and dance parties. Now he can run freely without limitations.
He lives to cherish his precious memories mother, Nichole DeFazio; father, Joshua Loveless; sisters, Emilia and Madelyn Loveless; grandparents, Damma, Peepaw, JoJo, Grammie, and Pop-Pop.
