Joseph Roger Ledbetter, Sr., age 40 of Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gene Ledbetter and his grandmother who raised him, Irene Ledbetter.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife, Catondra Hooker Ledbetter; two sons, Joseph Ledbetter, Jr. and Joshua Antwain Ledbetter; his father, Joe Davis (Joyce); four brothers, Cecil Antwain Ledbetter, Jerome Womack (Crystal), Torrice Bell and Tyrone Bell; three brothers-in-law, Roderick Hooker (Tiffany), Rodney Hooker (Kendra) and Randal Hooker (Tiana); mother and father-in-law, John Hooker (Sharon); and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
