Janice (Tysor) Hubbard

Mrs. Janice Tysor Hubbard, age 65 of Sanford, NC, transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at her residence.

The Obituary 

Janice Tysor Hubbard was born September 24, 1957, at Chatham Hospital in Siler City, North Carolina to Nathaniel and Hilda Cheek Tysor.  God called her home on the morning of March 1, 2023, at her home.  Janice was educated at J. S. Waters School in Goldston and Chatham Central High School in Bear Creek, NC, class of 1975.

She later completed her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification at Central Carolina Community College in Pittsboro, North Carolina. Janice enjoyed taking care of the elderly, it truly was her passion. Janice was the life of the party, when she came in, she would light up any room!  She loved to have a good time and made sure everyone had one as well.  Janice always made sure everyone was well taken care of, especially her grandchildren, they were her world.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  her husband, Frank Hubbard; her son, James Marvin Tysor, two daughters, Crystal Ann Boykin (Randy) and Shartara Hubbard (Antonio); her grandchildren, Ran-Quam Boykin (Jada), Jazmine Boykin and Rhayden Boykin, and one great-grandchild, Ralan Boykin; her siblings: Charlie Tysor (Sandra, deceased) of Goldston, NC, Stella Tysor Black of Burlington, NC; Nancy Brown (Johnny, deceased) of Durham, NC; Renola Void (Clay) of Greensboro, NC; Patrick Tysor (Bessie) of Burlington, NC; Michael Lee Tysor (Jean) of Durham, NC; Charles Tysor (Deborah) of Siler City and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and a host of relatives and friends.
