Janice L. Bellamy

Ms. Janice L. Bellamy, age 53, of Sanford. NC, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Medical Center, Pinehurst, NC.

Janice Lorine Bellamy was born on March 21, 1971, to the late Delois and James Bellamy in Lee County, North Carolina. She peacefully transitioned to her eternal life on April 23, 2024. 

Janice graduated from Lee Senior High School in 1988 and pursued further education at Central Carolina Technical College, where she studied Business Administration. She dedicated many years of service as an Administrator at Static Control. 

Janice was a cherished grandmother, mother, sibling, daughter, and friend who impacted the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, and love. She had a passion for music, cooking and entertaining her loved ones. She was also someone that loved watching sports and was a diehard North Carolina Tarheels Fan. Janice’s home was known as the neighborhood kitchen where any and every one could get a hot meal and a drink.

Janice leaves to cherish her memory her son, Travis Bellamy; daughter, Breanna Wiley; five grandchildren, Travis (TJ) Bellamy, Aaliyah Bellamy, Julian McDougald, Aria Bellamy; and Tre Bellamy; one uncle, Earl McLean; two sisters, Ann McLean, and Sandra Hodge; three brothers, William (Dino) Buie III, John Buie, James Bellamy and Tim Percel; honorary daughters, Shante Dube and Jessie Ray; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
