James Marshell Petty

Early Monday morning God sent his Angel and called James to his eternal rest.

James Marshall Petty was the son of the late Grady Petty Sr. and Martha Taylor Petty

James was educated in the Lee County School System. Before his health declined, he worked in roofing.  You could always find him around town doing lawn work.

James was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Annie Mae Petty, his parents, two sisters Mary Petty Redwine and Margaret Ann Petty, as well as one brother George E. Locklear.

He leaves to cherish his memories children Derrick, Alston, James Marshall Alston (Karla), Timothy McLean, William Snipes (Melissa), all of Sanford NC. Keisha Harrington of Fayetteville NC. Two brothers Mr. Grady Petty Jr. and Robert L. Petty (Hattie) of Sanford NC. A sister Lucille Trusell of Cameron NC. A very special friend Ms. Annette Judd. 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
