Ms. Ivy Lynn-Charmaine Gray, age 41, of Greensboro, North Carolina, formerly of Sanford, NC entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
The Obituary
Ivy Lynn Charmaine Gray, also known as “Tink”, daughter of the late Sandra Gunter and Lynn McCormick, was born November 8, 1981. She transitioned to her heavenly home in the early
morning hours of November 4, 2023.
Ivy was educated at Lee Senior High School, but later obtained her GED. Ivy was a former employee of Mountaire Farms in Siler City but later became an entrepreneur in her business “TrapRose” selling bracelets, purses, etc. Ivy was known to be the life of the party. She loved her kids dearly. She had a bright aura that allowed you to cling to her effortlessly. She was the life of the party and had the biggest smile with the prettiest gap. She was working on starting a YouTube channel for her and her kids for everybody to get a laugh at. It was never a dull moment with Ivy.
Ivy was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Gunter; her grandmother, Sophia Crump; and her aunt, Melanie Patridge.
Ivy leaves behind her loving children to continue her legacy, Sophia McLean, Julianna Gray, Kimora Gray, Jacolby Gray, YuKari Gray, YesCenia Gray, and Deoblo Gray; father, Lynn McCormick; siblings, Terrance Gray, and Holly Gunter; step-siblings, Travis Mayo, Germeka Ogundapo, Lashonda Lassiter, Myranda Crump, and Endia Lindsey; step-father, Victor Gunter; aunts, Mary Wynn (Clint), Sabrey Smith; uncles, Willard Patridge and Kenneth Crump; best friends, Jennifer Evans, and Simona Grier; and a host of other relatives and friends.
