Henry Arnold Chalmers

Mr. Henry Arnold Chalmers, age 66 of 67 Water Oak Circle, Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Laurels of Chatham of Pittsboro. Henry was an outdoors-man whom loved to fish and hunt or just watch the squirrels play or clouds move. There wasn’t anything he didn’t like about nature. In fact, he was right at home among the wild animals, forest, and God’s beauty under the sky. Henry attended Sandhills Community college to become a school teacher, but opted for a career in insulation. He became among the top 10 best in North Carolina. He was a man of God and served as a minister earlier in his life. And he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Chalmers, his father Eugene Chalmers of Broadway, NC and sisters Darlene Brewington of Abermale, NC and Bobby Singleton of Broadway, NC.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Vada Chalmers, his children Danielle Rivera (Jose), Valissa Mclean, Shawana Mclean, and son Henry Mclean; his siblings Annie Shaw, Veronica May’s (Mathew), Glenda Chalmers, Gloria Boyce (Marcus), Jimmy Chalmers, Floyd Chalmers (Shirley), Bruce Chalmers (Rebecca); his grandchildren Tashawn Dennis, Antonie Rivera, Mishayla Dennis, Isaac Rivera, Jonyelle Rivera, Kayleigh Rivera, Cinetra Mclean, Montrell Williams, Alayah Robinson, Xzavion McLean, Zechariah Williams, Tashonda Harris, Kayden McLean, Mizaueus Mclean, Elias Mclean, Mashayla Williams, Aniya Williams, Nariah Williams and Saamyah Williams; and his only great grandson D'Anthoni Kionte`Seaberry Dennis and 
and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
