Mr. Haywood Al Reaves, age 69, of Siler City, North Carolina, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Genesis Nursing Home in Siler City, North Carolina.

Haywood “Al” Reaves, 69 of Siler city, North Carolina. His Sunrise April 17, 1956, his Sunset September 5, 2025.

Haywood was born to the late Joseph Lee Reaves and the late Lubie Lee Reaves. He attended Alston Chapel Church United Holy Church in Pittsboro, NC at an early age.

He attended Horton High School until the eighth grade and then attended Northwood High School graduating in 1974; after graduation he enlisted in the US Army and served 4 years.

He worked as a carpenter assistant, and later in life he started his own landscaping business.

He leaves to cherish his memories, four sisters JoAnne (Rudy), of Moncure, Judy C. Reaves of Bear Creek, Cheryl A. Haith Siler City, and Bettye H. Dawson of nieces Charlene A. Womble (Ken), Rikkena T. McLean of Sanford, and Jakniica M. Harris, of Bear Creek; nephew Kendrick R. Alston (Felicia) of Raleigh; great nieces Kyonti, Destinee, Aubree and Jaliyah; great nephews Roddrikk, Devin, Kaleb, and Tre’Lyn; one great, great nephew Jorden.
