Harold Louis Carnegie

Harold Louis Carnegie, age 63 of 1207 Fern Ridge Drive, Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at his residence.

Harold Louis Carnegie was born to the late Andrew Carnegie and Armiller Carnegie on March 16, 1957, in Durham, NC. He attended Deep River High School where he graduated in 1975.  He studied at Central Carolina Community College before entering the Army in 1982.  He retired from the Army in 1991. Harold began his battle with cancer in 2010. Harold enjoyed building toy antique cars and watching any type of sports shown on television.  He also enjoyed playing basketball.

Harold was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Robert Carnegie, and his sister Frances Lassiter. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife; Barbara Carnegie, daughters; LaTonya McLean (Fredrick), LaToria Carnegie, Vanessa Zum Hingst (Stephan), and son; Christian Carnegie, six grandchildren; Jazzmon, Janae, Cayden, Elisha, Jeremiah, and Noah, three brothers; Jimmy Lee Carnegie (Gwen), Richard G. Carnegie Sr. (Barbara), and Bernard Carnegie and a host of nieces nephew, and friends.
