Glenn Lloyd Fox

Mr. Glenn Lloyd Fox, age 66 of Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Sanford Health and Rehabilitation, in Sanford NC.

Glenn Lloyd Fox was born January 7, 1956, to the late Howard London and Jeanette Ellerbe Fox.  He departed this life on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Sanford Health and Rehabilitation.

Glenn began his ministry at Ebenezer Gospel Assembly Training Center under the leadership of Dr. Delores W Curry. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Bruce Petty. Glenn served in many capacities until his health began to limit him. He was loved by many and a blessing to others with his godlike character. Glenn was a strong man in the faith. He loved God with his whole heart and it was easy to know that for God he lived and for God he died. He was our Lazarus.

Glenn worked at DIRECTV Cable Company for many years and served his community with his handyman skills. You name it he could do it. Glenn really enjoyed family gatherings and the annual family reunion, where he would talk with his brothers and sisters about their well-being.  He was an encouraging “highlight” to our lives. The first words to each of us were, "How are you doing?"  And from that point on….

He leaves to cherish his memory Preston Fox, Cora McIver, Paulette Moore, Ronald Fox (Alvira), Keith Fox (deceased) (Carolyn), Barbara Chambers (deceased), Karen Petty (Pastor Bruce Petty), Myrtle Fox, Sharon Stapleton, Greg Fox, Ellen Fox, granddaughter Mikiyah Martin and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
