Gary Christopher Brown

Gary Christopher Brown age 54 of 239 Fernwood Rd, Cameron, NC passed on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Moore Regional Hospital. 

Gary was born June 28, 1965 in Pinehurst, NC to James Raleigh Brown and Elizabeth Gilmore Brown.  

Gary married Jacqueline Wrencher Brown on April 18, 1992 and raised two daughters, Derimus and Tashina.  

Gary graduated from Union Pines High in 1984 and received certificates from NC State University and Ossid School. He served many years as a supervisor and manager at Perdue, Gold Kist Farms Inc., Mountaire Farms, Pilgrim’s Pride and Kellogg’s.  

He served as Assistant Head Trustee and church musician at St. John’s UCOG in Carthage, NC.  

He is preceded in death by his father James; grandmother and grandfather, Beatrice and Robert, and sister, Patricia.  

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline of Cameron; daughters, Derimus and Tashina (Eric) of Cameron; his mother, Elizabeth of Cameron; siblings, James (Pam) of Cameron, NC, Katrina (Phillip) of Sanford, NC, Kevin (Jacqueline) of Lyman, SC, and Jacqueline (Charlie) of Raleigh, NC; and grandchildren, Omaree, Jakari, Jayla, and Omahni of Cameron, NC.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
