Obituary

Frederick Alexander Watson Sr. was born August 13, 1974 to the late Joseph Louis Watson and Virginia Carolyn French Watson. The angels received him on Monday, February 24, 2025, UNC Hospital at Chapel Hill, NC.

He was born in Chatham County and attended Chatham County schools. He joined St. Matthews church at an early age. He held various jobs. He loved cars, telling stories and spending time with the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Cheryl McSwain.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Denise Lee; three sons, Frederick Alexander, Jr. (Jamillison), Tyrell Smalls (Cydney), Lawrence Smalls; two brothers, Anthony Watson  (Manwla) and Joseph Keith Watson; aunts, Mary Lillie French Clark (Phillip Tyrone), Deborah French Laws (Herbert), Sarah Frances Watson, Tessie Watson, Marion French Goldston; uncles, Johnny Watson (Linda), Charlie Monroe Goldston; three grandchildren, Daylon, Ziya and Camryn; two godchildren; special friends, Christopher Monroe, Auburn Brent Chandler, Sr., and Shawn Jones.
