Frederick Harold Matthews

Mr. Frederick Harold Matthews, age 57 of Goldston, NC transitioned to eternal rest Monday, March 4, 2024, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. 

Frederick is the son of the late Raymond Tysor and the late Nancy Matthews.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Matthews; godparents, Pruitt and Myron Jones; uncles, Wendell, Hubert, Bishop Thomas, and Frank Matthews, and John Randolph Tysor; aunts, Alcine Wicker, Patricia Thompson, Ramona Henderson and Lerlene Matthews of Winter Haven, FL; two great uncles, Winfred Tysor and Jimmy Tysor; two great aunts, Elwood Davis and Ceola McIver.
