With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Felicia Lewis Reid, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend, who left this world on May 9, 2025, at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Born on July 30, 1969, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Felicia’s life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and love.  

For 20 years, Felicia devoted herself to caring for others as a Personal Care Assistant at Countryside Assisted Living. She found deep joy in supporting the elderly, offering them comfort and companionship through her compassionate spirit. Her work was more than a job—it was her calling, a reflection of the boundless empathy and warmth she carried within her.  

Felicia’s greatest joy was found in faith, family, and food. She cherished every moment spent in church, where she nurtured her spiritual foundation, and she treasured the time shared with loved ones, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and the delicious meals she so enjoyed.

Felicia was preceded in death by her mother, Darline Johnson; father, Ivory Ray Lewis; grandparents, and her dear friend, Michelle Best. Though she is no longer physically with us, her light remains in the hearts of those who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, carried on by her devoted daughter, Brittni Reid (Dymon); stepmother, Doris Lewis; one sister, Linda Crooms; two brothers, Billy Lewis (Carolyn) and Michael Lewis; one cherished goddaughter, Ava Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will continue to honor her memory.

Felicia’s life was a beautiful reflection of care, faith, and devotion. May her soul rest in peace, and may her love continue to guide those she held dear.
