Eronus McNeill, Sr.

Eronus McNeill, Sr. was born on January 27, 1953, to Theodore F. McNeill and Irene Taylor of Sanford, NC. He transitioned into eternal rest on June 3, 2022, at his residence.

He attended the W.B. Wicker School. He was employed at GKN and Hallman Foundry for many years. Eronus was very musically inclined. He could play any instrument that his hands touched. He was a jack of all trades and could fix about anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Theodore and Thurman McNeill; grandparents, and his longtime companion, Melissa Snook.

Eronus is survived by his four children: Rona Anderson (Robert) of Cameron, NC; Eronda Maina (Matthew) of Anchorage, Alaska; Dontea Leak of Sanford, NC; and Eronus McNeill Jr. (Tierra) of Bunnlevel, NC; twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Alma J. McNeill and Hazel Foushee, both of Sanford, NC; a special sister-in-law, Carolyn McNeill, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
