Elizabeth Bethea, 81 years of age, passed on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Central Carolina Hospital.

 Elizabeth was born May 3, 1939, in Titusville, Florida (raised in Jamaica Queens NY) to the late Jennie Mae and Carlisle W Bryant Sr. She was the oldest of five children. She was a Nurse for over 20 years at Goldwater Memorial Hospital in New York.

Preceding her in death is her husband, James R Bethea; son, Lorenzo Bryant, two sisters, Belinda Robinson and Carolyn Bryant; brother-in-law, James Gist; and sister-in-law, Sharon Bryant.

She leaves to cherish her memories her kids: Tonja Bethea, Wanda (Franklin Binns), James Bethea, Dawn Bethea, and Dawnette Bethea, all of Sanford NC; sister, Maryetta Gist (New Jersey); brother, Carlisle W. Bryant Jr. of Queens NY; brothers-in-law, Charles Robinson of Queens NY, Alexander Bethea of Sanford NC, sister-in-law, Sarah Bethea of Sanford NC; 16 grandkids, 27 great grands, 6 great great grands and a host of relatives and friends.
