Elba Shaniqua Wicker

Ms. Elba Shaniqua Wicker, age 35 of Fayetteville, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC. 

Elba Shaniqua Wicker was born to Betty Wicker Atkinson and Late Gregory Keeton on December 22, 1987. She gained her wings on Tuesday, March 1, 2023. She was educated at Lee County High School in Sanford, North Carolina, and continued her education at Central Carolina Community College.

Shaniqua loved to sing, and dance, and loved her family dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Niyger Wicker of New Haven, CT, Dawaun, Destiny, and Kyree Clemmons of NC and Mendesi Wicker of NC; mother, Betty W. Atkinson (Alvin) of NC; siblings, Micheal Moncrease (Shonda) of NC, Denisha Moncrease (Janecka) of NC, Alfred Bowman of CT, Joel Evans of CT, Jordan Hoskie of NC, and Lanasha Robinson of CT, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A special thank you to her oldest brother, Micheal Moncrease, and brother, Al Bowman; cousins, Jasmin Wicker and Sharonda Wicker.
