Mr. Eddie "Fast Eddie" Lee Minter, age 70 of Sanford, NC transitioned to eternal rest Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at his residence.
Eddie Lee Minter was born February 5, 1956, to the late Alfred Minter and late Ethel Farrington Bynum. He was educated in the Chatham County Schools System and graduated from Northwood High School. While living in Charlotte, he worked for Hunter Dairy. When he moved to Sanford, he worked for a Group Home for Boys and cleaning businesses. He was a member of St. Paul CME Church in Apex, NC. He loved St. Paul and a lot of the maintenance that was done there, was done by Eddie. He loved to cook and he thought nobody’s food tasted as good as his. He loved people, he had a contagious personality, and a loving and giving heart. He was a man of perfection when it came to his car and doing yard work. He was the UNC die-hard fan, and he was also known for programming Fire Sticks. He loved fishing, talking junk, and being the life of the party.
He was preceded in death by sister, Linda Minter Green.
