Diego Ortiz Valerio

Mr. Diego Ortiz Valerio, age 21 of 911 N. Chatham Ave., Siler City, NC passed on Friday, December 7, 2018 at UNC Hospitals Chapel Hill, NC.

He is a loving husband, father, brother, grandson, uncle, and son. He will always joke around and make people laugh, love by family and friends, and always will be.

He use to work as a CNA helping people around and making sure they are okay.Another thing about him is that, he is a hard worker. He would work over time to make sure his family has everything.

We have one child together and he is our blessing. We were hoping for more but God have other plans.

His favorite things to do since he was still young is playing video games, hang and joke around his friend, liked to go to comic con, be in bed, well celebrate with family on the holidays.

Not much of a people person but he is nice once you start to get to know him.

Around at the end of his journey in 2017, he end up have leukemia cancer. He end up in remission but cancer came back within 2 weeks and started treatment again. Treatment was okay but in 2018 around November and December.  Cancer came back more then before and he end up having a infection at the same time. Doctor say there nothing they can do. So within days, he pass away.  It’s hard for us but God know why and sooner or later, all of us with be with the Lord.
