Mr. Demetrius Lamur Snipes, age 29, of Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, May 9, 2021, in Sanford NC.

Mr. Demetrius Lamur Snipes, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday morning, May 09, 2021, at the age of 29 years.  Demetrius was born on March 28, 1992, to proud parents Rhonda Snipes and Christopher Ragland.

Demetrius, affectionally known as “Stink” was a fun-loving and energetic person who loved life itself. Stink enjoyed family gatherings at his grandma’s house where he had a great time with family and friends.

Stink had a sense of humor that would turn a frown upside down. Before he left your presence, you would be laughing.

Stink’s life did not end with his death. His smile will live in our hearts always.  His untimely death took him away from us, but his personality will be forevermore.

Demetrius was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Mr. Douglas Allen, Doris and Glenn Snipes, Gladys and Tom Ragland, Lessie and Charles Clegg, and his grandmother, Mrs. Katherine Snipes.

Demetrius leaves his esteemed recollections to his parents Rhonda Snipes and Christopher Ragland both of Lillington, NC; his children: Kaniya Snipes, Keaysia Jones, Deon Jefferson, Karter Johnson, and Kaelyn Snipes; his siblings: Quinterious (Amanda) Ragland, Octavius Snipes, Kendra Snipes, Kayanna Johnson from Lillington, NC and Rashonne Bethea of Sanford, NC; his grandparents: William “Leroy” Snipes of Sanford, NC, Helen Ragland of New Hill, NC, and Robert (Quintina) Toomer of Sanford, NC; uncles: Ray Baldwin of Kileen, Texas; Steven (Camelia) Baldwin of Broadway, NC; William Snipes, Tavares (Valencia) Toomer of Sanford, NC, and Robert Toomer, Jr.; aunts: Lasheka Ragland, Stacey Toomer of New Hill, NC, and Latoya Toomer; four nieces, several great aunts, great uncles, and a host of family and friends.
