Deborah Ellerby

Deborah Ellerby, age 70 of 1138 Taylors Chapel Rd., Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC.

Deborah was known to family and friends as "Deb".  She was born June 16, 1950 to the late Leroy and Myrtle T. Ellerby of the Taylors Chapel Community. She passed away Saturday at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, N.C. surrounded by her family members.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Taylors Chapel Church.

“Deb” attended J.S. Waters in Goldston, N.C. and CCCC in Sanford, N. C. She worked as a health Care Provider until her health declined.

She was always happy as long as she was driving her car and talking on the phone with her friends.

Deborah was preceded in death by her daughter, Catina Ellerby: her sister, Brenda Goldston and her brother, Joseph Ellerby.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Eric Ellerby; her siblings, Doris Palmer, Jesse Ellerby (Linda), David Ellerby (Dale), and Linda Faye Ellerby; aunts, Betty Stackhouse, Mary Clark, and Judi Brown; her longtime friends, Denise Covington, Mary Jane Taylor, Bernice Cheek and Omar L. McIver; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
