David Holder Obituary

David J. Holder, age 85 of 2829 Brookhaven Dr. Sanford, NC passed on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at CMC Main Hospital, Charlotte, NC.

David Junior Holder was born on July 3, 1932 to the late Doye and Pearl Holder. He departed this life on June 28, 2018.

David retired from Parkdale Yarns.

His hobbies included fishing, sports, grilling, fixing things, landscaping and attending church. Many knew him as the Christmas Lights Man.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Holder, Sanford, NC; children, Jackie White (Katherine) of Sanford, Shelby Wall of Greensboro, Andre Holder and Lydia Bland of Sanford, Yasmine Holder of the home, Travis Mayo of Sanford, NC and Germeka Mayo of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Annie Libert of Selma, NC and Doris Saunders of Clayton, NC; two special friends, Jeffery Fuller and Minister Paul Goldston and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
