Ms. Dalphine Buie Adams, age 68 of Sanford, NC, transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at her residence.
Dalphine Buie Adams, lovingly called by family and friends “Dal” was born October 24, 1952. She was the second child of Mother Wandene Buie Butler.
Dalphine grew up with her siblings and cousins Norma, Wanda, Linda and later her baby sister, Debra.
Dalphine graduated from Benhaven High School where she was an awesome basketball player and softball player. After graduation she attended Central Carolina Technical College where she graduated in Paralegal Studies.
Dalphine’s joy was working in the yard, mowing her lawn, and planting flowers. She enjoyed traveling and loved going to her home church where she was a faithful member until her health declined.
Dalphine was a loving care giver of her mother Wandene, until her death. Her greatest joy was the visits from her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, a loving sister, and friend and will be forever remembered in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Wandene Buie Butler.
Dalphine leaves to cherish her memories three children, Kelly Ronnell (Beatrice), Nelson Joseph-John IV, and Byron Donnell Adams; 9 grandchildren: Vaughn Eric Hill, Kellan Nicole and Garren Christopher Adams; Elijah Johntrell Fox, Kiesha Hamilton, Alexa Michelle, Charissa Faith, David Jeremiah and Noah Emory Adams. Two sisters, Wanda (Willie) Mayers of Chesapeake VA, And Debra (John) Singleton of Baton Rouge LA. A very special cousin/sister and neighbor, Linda Lassiter; 2 nieces, Ashley Nelson of Atlanta Ga. & Brittany Nelson of Gonzales LA, 1 nephew, Warrant Officer Marques Nelson, US Army, along with a host of cousins, family and friends.
