Cynthia (Deal) Barnes

Mrs. Cynthia Deal Barnes, age 62 of Sanford, North Carolina transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, North Carolina.

Cynthia was born in Fairmont, North Carolina to LaRue Mae Hunt and Elgust Hunt. Cynthia attended Fairmont High School. She relocated to Sanford, North Carolina in 2002. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Cynthia was a faithful member of Little Gailiee Holiness Church where she served as an Usher.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lasheana Hunt, and three brothers.

Cynthia leaves to celebrate her life and memories, her husband, Barry Barnes of Sanford, North Carolina; seven children, Donna Deal of South Carolina, Jimmy Jackson of Oklahoma, Tina Rice of Missouri, Patricia Hammonds, of Sanford, North Carolina, Takwanna Hunt of Sanford, North Carolina, Anne Babcock of New York, Shyenne Campbell of Lumberton, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren, Dakota, Kenneth Jr., Kyrie, Godric, JaeVion, Nashara, Avieanna, Tatianna, Kaniya, Armonie, Princess and Lettianna; one brother, Ledford Deal of Fairmont, NC; three sisters, Linda Hunt of Charlotte, North Carolina, Marilyn Quick Jackson of Goldsboro, North Carolina and Connie Quick Hunt of Stedman, North Carolina; two special friends, Sheena Royal and Shawn McLeod and host of other family members and friends.
