Curtis James Sellars

Curtis James Sellars, age 57 of Sanford, NC was born on September 7, 1963, and departed this life on September 4, 2021.

Curtis attended Lee Senior High School in Sanford and graduated in 1981. He spent a year of service in the Job Corps. Curtis loved his family and was loved by his family. He wanted to see everyone happy. Before he left your presence, he wanted to put a smile on your face.

Curtis J. Sellars was preceded in death by his parents Louise Sellars and Willie James Covington.

He leaves to cherish is memories: his daughter, Tasha Nicole Davis of Sanford, NC; two sisters, Latrice Butler of Greenville, South Carolina and Loretta Sellars Tolson of Apex, North Carolina; three brothers, Everette Lee Sellars (Wilma) of Siler City, North Carolina, Timothy Covington of Jefferies, South Carolina and Everette Bernard Hollingsworth (Quennet) of Sanford, North Carolina; special aunt and second mother, Louella Sellars McLean of Sanford, North Carolina; aunts, Fanny Murphy, Margaret Murchison, and Laura Buie, all of Sanford, North Carolina; a special friend like a sister, Vonda K. Hollingsworth Graham and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
