Clarissa Faye (Toomer) Neal

Clarissa Faye Neal age 69, of New Hill NC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at her residence.

Clarissa Faye (TOOMER) Neal was born December 22, 1953, in Chatham County, the first child of the late Hubert and Cora TOOMER, affectionately known as Faye.

Faye graduated from the newly integrated Northwood High School as valedictorian in 1972 and later obtained a degree from ECPI University in computer science, computer programming, and data entry. She spent most of her career as an executive administrative assistant for Nationwide Insurance. She also worked for Xerox, All About Us Kids Childcare Center, and was a bus driver for Chatham County Schools. She enjoyed coordinating events, singing, attending church functions, mentoring, and helping others. She loved God with all her heart and loved people.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband, Bruce Neal; 4 children, Shereese (Wayne) Myers, Trey Neal, Bruce Neal, Jr., Cierra Neal; 1 grandson, Jace Neal (her pride and joy); 4 siblings, Jan Pugh, Gabrilla (Ronnie) Singh, Donnell Toomer, Jasper Toomer; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Services:  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sprott Center, 80 Sprott Center Dr. Moncure, NC 27559, on Saturday, June 24th, 1p-6p by the family.
