Clarence Lee Howard

Mr. Clarence Lee Howard, age 70 of Cameron, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

Clarence L. Howard was born on April 17th, 1950. He entered into eternal rest on April 6th, 2021 at the age of 70. He was the son of the late Lemuel Murchison and Dorothy Murchison.

Clarence graduated from Lee County Schools as a child. He then later joined the United States Army in 1969. After serving the military, he worked for the Veterans Hospital and a pharmaceutical company until his retirement.

Clarence was a dedicated member at Increasing Faith Deliverance Ministries in Sanford, NC. He served on the Outreach Committee. He was also a member of the Disabled Veterans group in Sanford, NC. Clarence Loved to travel up and down the east coast to visit family and friends. He loved being a grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father Lemuel Murchison, brother Frank Murchison, his grandparents Isaac and Idonia Howard, George and Winnie Murchison. He leaves behind his mother Dorthy Murchison of Sanford; brother Jerome Murchison (Doloris) of Clearwater, Florida; five sisters: Patricia Edmonds (Wilbur),  Brenda Garrett, Lorraine Newby (Henry), and Carolyn Bromell (Robert), all of Sanford, NC and Debra Davis of Lillington, NC.

He leaves three children to cherish his memories; Tabatha Mclean (Nathan) of Sanford, NC, David Howard (Latasha) of Chesapeake, VA, and Tiffany Howard of Raleigh, NC. His grandchildren Alyssa, D’anta, Kayden, LaCrystal, Markell, Na’Quan, Na’Shawn, and Romeo; two great-grandchildren, many other relatives, and friends.
