Christopher Antonio Wicker

Mr. Christopher Antonio Wicker, age 23 of Broadway, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in Harnett County, NC.

Christopher A. Wicker was born on January 23, 1999, to parents of Anthony Wicker and Sarah Johnson.  He departed his precious life on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

Chris attended Western Harnett High School where he graduated in 2018. He was a loving, kind, giving, quiet and soft-spoken young man. Chris was a hard-working person and enjoyed his job at Pentair. His hobbies were keeping up his car and truck and he would make sure stayed clean; which he learned from his dad.  He loved basketball, cookouts, and hanging out with friends and loved ones. He loved going around his big brothers, where he knew he was right at home and whom he looked up to.

Chris was preceded in death by his brother Patrick S. Bethea; grandparents Roy and Hazel Wicker, Verland, and Fannie J. McIver,  his uncle Roy Wicker, his aunt Ruth L. Miller and uncle Robert L. Brown.

Chris leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories with his loving parents Anthony Wicker and Sarah Johnson: his siblings Donice Gilchrest (Tim), Anthony Wicker (Claudette), and Marcus Wicker (Aigner), aunts: Myra Lucas, Shelby Johnson, and Blonzie Harrison; uncles: Kenny Wicker (Mary), Earnest Johnson, Sherman (Joyce) Johnson, Ted Johnson (Debra); nieces: Annalese, Leticia, Amani, Kolbi, Donisha, Timmya, Nevaeh, Nascia, Daisha, Katrina, Patrice, and Kaileah; a loving host of nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Special God Parents: Sandra Landon, Charles Currie, and Torell Tomer who was also like a brother to him.
