Christopher "Hump Jack" Octavius Gordon, age 50 of 12084 Hwy 64 W., Apt. C Siler City, NC passed on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at WakeMed, Raleigh, NC.
Christopher Octavius Gordon was born to the late Arthur and Barbara Gordon on December 23, 1969.
He departed this life on March 24, 2020 at Wake Med Hospital. Christopher was a very loving person, the youngest of six children. He had a smile that would brighten anyone’s day; his eyes sparkled like stars on a clear summer’s night. Chris had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to laugh and loved to make you laugh. Chris loved to dress to the tee from head to toe, ready to show and go. Chris was strong willed and very charming, making it hard to tell him, no. For example, if he asked you to cook something because he loved home cooking.
You may as well get out your cast iron frying pan and get started. When you finish cooking just get out of the way and watch “Hump Jack” enjoy the spread. Chris loved his family, children and his friends; he never met a stranger, and if you were one of the blessed ones to meet him you would never forget his loving heart and spirit.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for loaning Chris to us, now in your loving hands with you, in God we love and trust.
He was preceded in death his parents; and his brother, Timothy Gordon.
Christopher leaves behind many whom loved him and will cherish his memories: he was blessed to have one daughter, Candace Gordon of Fayetteville, NC; two sons, Christain and Joshua Gordon both of Henderson, NC; one sister, Wonda Johnson (Antone); three brothers, Clayton Gordon (Diane), Danny Gordon of Durham and Eric Gordon of Moncure; god brother, Bobby Johnson; one grandson, Osirus Bruno: sister in law, Brenda Gordon; nieces, ShaTammy Booker (Corie) and Danielle Richardson; nephew, Gerrall (Terrisha) Laperry (Cathy) and Amon (Brittany); best friend, Juanita Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Christopher “Hump Jack’ Octavius Gordon was loved by many; his family and friends will truly miss him.
