Mr. Christopher Dwayne Cox, age 33, of Sanford, NC transitioned to eternal rest on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at his residence.

The Obituary

He was born February 11, 1992, in Sanford, NC to Caroline Cox and the late Johnny McIver.

"Chris" as he was affectionately called by his family and friends attended Lee County High School. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny McIver and one brother, Calvin Snipes.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Caroline Cox of the home; two brothers, Derrick Cox of the home and Johnny M. McLean (Andrea) of Sanford, NC; one sister, Monica P. Roseboro (Eric) of Charlotte, NC; one aunt, Sybil Patterson; five uncles, Clifton Covington, Joseph McIver, Winfred McIver (Daisy) all of Sanford, NC; Bruce McIver (Arlethia) of Richmond, VA and Charles Covington of Baltimore MD, and a host of other relatives and friends.
