Mr. Christopher "Diego" Cotton (Taylor), age 58 of Raleigh, NC (formerly of Pittsboro) transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Raleigh, NC.

Christopher “Diego” Cotton (Taylor) was born at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill, NC, on September 15, 1961, to the late Edward C. Taylor and Linda L. Cotten Taylor Hill. He departed this life Saturday, March 21, 2020.

Christopher, affectionally knows as “Diego”, graduated Ramapo Senior High School, Spring Valley, NY in 1980. Diego was an exceptional athlete in Football and Basketball. Diego was an energetic person known for his big smile and larger than life personality. He was a person who loved his family. Diego was always there to help relatives and friends. Diego loved to engage in Biblical discussions and knew people near and far, and always left a lasting impression once you met him.

He leaves to cherish his memories, daughter Chrystal E. Stackhouse of Brooklyn, NY; (Kizzy, Malik and Josiaha); Mother Linda L. Hill (George); Sister LaShaunda M. Ladouceur, Township of Newburg, NY; Sister Dana S. Thomas (George), Stormville, NY; two nieces Tanae’ja C. Taylor (Ava and Zion George) of Pittsboro, NC; De’jah M. Taylor, Lutherville-Timonium, MD; special cousin Beverly Crump and incredible friend Nettie Hill; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relative and friends.

The family would like to thank everyone for the support during this difficult time; and will continue to live by Diego’s motto “Family for Life”.
