Ms. Chiquita Danie'l Harris, age 36 of Graham, NC transitioned into eternal rest Saturday, May 15, 2021, at her residence.

Chiquita Danie'l Harris was born on January 22, 1985, to James and Wanda Harris. Chiquita was known to everyone by Danie'l and her close family as Banana. Danie'l attended Northwood High School but finished at Central Carolina Community College with her GED and later went on to get her bachelor’s degree in Applied Science in Healthcare Management from Colorado Technical University.

To Danie'l, setting goals and meeting them motivated her so that she could be a role model for her niece and nephew. She wanted to show them that anything was possible if you believe and worked for it. Danie'l lived her life knowing that tomorrow was not promised to anyone; so, she lived it laughingly and lovingly through it all. On May 15, 2021, at 1:45 a.m God decided that it was time for Danie'l to rest, so He called his daughter home.

Chiquita leaves behind a father and mother; James and Wanda Harris of Snow Camp NC, a sister; Martina McSwain of Florida, two brothers; James Harris also of Florida and Zaine Harris of Pittsboro, and a loving boyfriend; Jamara Walker of Graham, NC. She also leaves behind a very special second mother; Janice Hanner, a grandmother; Carrie Harris, niece; Jazmyne, nephew; Jaiden, goddaughter; Kendall, godparents; Helen and Vernon Brooks, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
