Charlotte Karen Williams, affectionately known as “Fatneck,” was born March 18, 1963 to the late Herman and Ethel Bell Williams. She departed this life on Friday, November 19, 2021 at UNC Hospice in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
Charlotte graduated from Lee County High School in 1981. She later received her Biotechnology certification at Central Carolina Community College. She worked at PCC Airfoils for many years and ended her journey of working at Magnetti Marelli. She was a faithful member of St. Mark United Church of God, where she was a part of the praise team and choir. She was also a leader of the Children’s Church and loved to minister to the youth. She later attended Fire Chosen Ministries. Charlotte was the type of person that anyone could talk to, without judgement. She was truly an awesome woman of God. Her favorite bible verse was Psalms 91:1-6.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Ethel Bell Williams.
She is survived by her daughter: Keonna Williams of Sanford, sister: Beverly Williams of Sanford, brother: Jake Siler of Sanford, grandchildren: Keon Patterson and Larod Sanders of Sanford, best friend: Beverly Brock of Cameron, special brother: Willie Ware of Sanford, godchildren: Trinity Spruiell of Sanford, Jaleesha Petty of Cameron, Jonee’, De’Jiah, and Anthony Brock of Cameron, and a host of aunts, cousins, a nephew, an uncle, extended family members and a multitude of friends.
