Chad Vernon Clark, 49, entered into his heavenly home on July 4, 2026.
Born on January 23, 1977, Chad was the beloved son of Eddie and Teresa Clark. Throughout his life, Chad was known for his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, his kind heart, generous spirit, and deep love for his family and friends.
Chad found joy in attending drag races, car shows, any and all things involving music and cheering on the Tar Heels basketball team. Of all the things he enjoyed, nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his beloved daughter, Kayla.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie, and his Pap. Chad leaves behind his daughter, Kayla; his mother, Teresa; sister, Tonya (Wade); nephew, Reid; niece, Eliza; Aunt Paula (Wally); cousins Heather (Tony) and Lynsi (Seth). Also left to cherish his memory is his devoted Granny, Trema. Chad shared a special bond with his Granny, and those who knew him understood how deeply that relationship shaped his life.
Chad will be missed greatly here on earth, but his loved ones rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to Kayla’s College Fund c/o Paula Oldham. Contributions can be mailed to 2471 Mt. Gilead Church Rd. Pittsboro, NC 27312.
