As a devoted mother, Catherine was the heart of her family. In her children's eyes, she was both a Queen and a source of unwavering strength. In her younger years, she had a passion for cooking and was particularly renowned for her delicious sweet potato pies and homemade biscuits, which often delighted the neighborhood children who would eagerly inquire about her biscuit supply.

Catherine was the only surviving sibling and outlived all her brothers and sisters. In her later years, she often expressed a longing to join her parents, son, and siblings in Heaven. She has now been granted her heavenly wings.
