The Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Bradley Alan Jeffries, who left us peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on December 11, 2024, at the age of 32.
Bradley was born on June 30, 1992, in Alamance County to Vanessa Farrar and Eric Jeffries. He was a vibrant, caring soul who made an indelible mark on everyone he met.
A proud graduate of Northwood High School, Bradley excelled in baseball. He was a standout player, earning All-Conference honors and being named his team’s Most Valuable Player in his senior year. He still holds the record for the most runs scored in a single inning at Northwood. After high school, Bradley went on to play college baseball at Guilford College and later at N.C. A&T State University.
More than any of his accomplishments, Bradley was defined by his love for his family. He was a devoted husband to Candace McMurran Jeffries and a proud father to three sons—Bradley Jeffries II, Silas Jeffries, and Carter Jeffries. Bradley loved to create lasting memories with his family, traveling to new destinations, attending local college and professional sporting events, and enjoying the outdoors in his garden.
Bradley is survived by his wife, Candace McMurran Jeffries; his three sons, Bradley Jeffries II, Silas Jeffries, and Carter Jeffries; his mother, Vanessa Farrar (Stan); his father, Eric Jeffries (Debbie); and his brother, Derrick Jeffries (Adrienne). He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, countless friends and extended family members who will miss him deeply.
Bradley was a beacon of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. His presence in our lives was a gift, and his memory will continue to shine brightly in our hearts forever. Bradley’s spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and his legacy will live on through the love he shared with all who knew him.
