Bobby Gerald Petty

Bobby Gerald Petty, age 61 entered eternal rest Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford.

Bobby Gerald Petty, son of the late Richard C. White and Mary Elizabeth Petty was born January 6, 1960 in Lee County.  He was called home on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Gerald was an Army Veteran of Five and a half years and he made sure you knew it! He was a strong willed and loving man.  He had a great love for all his friends and family.  He loved to read the Bible.

On departing this life, he leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Gloria D. Petty; two daughters, Regina Richmond of Sanford, NC, and Jessica Richmond (Tyrone) of Sanford; one son, James Holt of Sanford; two sisters, Karen Snipes (George) of Sanford, and Michelle Bromell of Sanford; three brothers, Michael White (Vivian) of Sanford, Richard White Jr. (Barbara) of Lillington, and Jonathon White (Sheila) of Johnsonville; two grandsons, four granddaughters, and one great granddaughter.

He also leaves two special people in his life, Cheryl Trusell and Cecilia McNeill (David) of Sanford and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and other special friends and relatives.
