Ms. Beverly Caroline Walden, age 52, of Bear Creek, NC, transitioned to eternal rest on Friday, May 1, 2026, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst, NC.
Obituary
Beverly Caroline Walden “Charmin Chatty” was born November 26, 1973, to General Herbert Walden and Margaret Marsh Walden.
Beverly was educated from Bonlee Elementary School and a graduate of Chatham Central High School. She continued her education as a “Bennett Bell” at Bennett College and then transferred to UNC-G. She worked as a Medical Technician for UNC Hospital for 18 years. Later worked as a Patient Financial Services for Hospice, until her health started declining.
Beverly was raised in a strong God-fearing family, she was raised to judge not, which led to her kind heart towards family, friends, and total strangers. Beverly was known for her beautiful voice singing in the choir as a child and singing in various places.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Margaret Walden; one brother, Michael W. Marsh, and one niece, Corissa Person.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; her siblings, Vera Siler and Tony Marsh of the home; Angela W. Cotton (Warren) of Bear Creek NC; fiancé, Larry Spruiell, Moore County, NC; one nephew, Montaeo Cotton; three nieces, Jada Walden, Nautica C. Jackson, and MaKizah Cotton; two great nephews, Ayden Cotton and Alonzo Jackson; three great nieces, Asia Person, A ‘ Nya Johnson, and Athena Cotton; as well as a host of family and friends.
