Ms. Belinda Ann Burnette, age 56 of Holly Springs, NC transitioned to eternal rest on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.
Belinda Ann Burnette was born July 29,1968 in Orange County, NC and preceded in death by her parents, Anna Louise McKiver and James Edward Burnette, brother, David Burnette, niece, Shamika Pridgen, nephew, Justin Waddell. She passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 12, 2025.
Belinda was educated in Wake and Durham County public schools. She attended Wake Technical Community College and the School of Arts.
Belinda was a nurturing and loving person who loved her family. She believed in natural, holistic, healing and spiritual mental practices. She started her day off with yoga aimed to control her body and mind. In addition to her faith, she was an extremely creative person.
Belinda worked various occupations waitressing, catering, and domestic positions until her health declined. For leisure time she loved the beach, sewing, crocheting, drawing, and thrifting.
Belinda leaves to cherish in loving memories: three brothers, James Burnette of Angier, NC, Kenneth Burnette (Bernadette) of Willow Spring, NC, Barry Burnette (Angela) of Clayton, NC; two special nieces, Shatandra Perry of Durham, NC, Nicole Caldwell (Jeremiah) of Lillington, NC; ten nieces and nephews; eighteen great nieces and nephews; special aunts, Margaret Watson, Annie Burnette, Lucille Patterson, Hattie Burnette, Maggie Burnette; special uncles, Reverend Stanley Burnette (Carrie), Douglas Burnette (Charlene) and a host of loving relatives and friends.
