Banks Marsh

Mr. Banks Marsh, age 91, of Sanford, North Carolina, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Guilford Healthcare in Greensboro, NC.

                                                                                  The Obituary 

Mr. Banks Lee Marsh was born December 23, 1933, and went home to be with Jesus on September 25, 2025. He was the youngest of the late Eddie and Bessie Woodard Marsh.

He was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church and attended regularly until his health began to fail.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Rev. Amos Lee Marsh, Sr.; and daughter, Sharon DeVal Marsh; granddaughter, Ashlei Danielle Marsh; his sisters, Erma Donnell, Bessie Jane Cox, Mildred Brewington, and Clara Donnell; and his brothers, Paul Marsh, Bobby Donnell, Edward Marsh, and Charles Marsh.

He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Rev. John William Marsh; Jean Alice Cullier, mother of his three children; Bertha Datcher (sister), Amos Lee Marsh, Jr. (grandson), and three great grandchildren; Camren, Gabby, and Malaya; Lorraine Clinton, Portia Donnell and Cheryl Datcher (nieces); Thomas Donnell and Anthony Donnell (nephews); and a host of other relatives and friends.
