Autumn LaSha McLean, age 28 of Greensboro, NC transitioned into eternal rest on July 17, 2026 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

Born on March 26, 1998, Autumn was a beautiful soul whose radiant smile could light up any room. She possessed a vibrant, bubbly personality, an infectious laugh, and a compassionate heart that naturally drew people to her. Fierce, intelligent, inspiring, and nurturing, Autumn had a remarkable gift for making others feel seen, loved, and encouraged.

Autumn found joy in helping others and never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone in need. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She shared an especially close bond with her brothers and sisters, whom she loved dearly. Fiercely protective of her siblings, she often jokingly assumed the role of their second mother, always encouraging them, offering guidance, and looking out for their well-being. The love they shared was one of her life’s greatest treasures, and the memories they created together will forever remain in their hearts.

A dedicated and hardworking young woman, Autumn approached every responsibility with determination and excellence, always giving 110 percent. She excelled academically while attending Luther “Nick” Jarrell Middle School in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where her love of learning and determination began to flourish. She later attended Lee County Senior High School in Sanford, North Carolina, graduating in June 2016. Autumn went on to serve as Warehouse Coordinator with Pioneer Square Brands in High Point, North Carolina, where she was respected for her outstanding work ethic, leadership, and unwavering commitment.

Autumn embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. She loved to sing, dance, travel, experience different cultures, explore new foods, and express herself through fashion and makeup. Above all, Autumn was deeply spiritual. Her faith, compassion, generosity, and unconditional love were reflected in the way she cared for others and lived each day with purpose.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Sa’Marj McLean; her maternal grandparents, Annie L. Grant and Bobby Grant; her beloved cousin, Tylisher Brown, whom she loved dearly; and her paternal grandparents, Deacon Baalam McLean, Sr. and Deaconess Roberta McLean.

A Special Tribute to Her Brothers and Sisters

The bond Autumn shared with her brothers and sisters was one of unconditional love, laughter, guidance, and protection. She was more than a sister—she was a confidant, encourager, and, at times, a second mother. She celebrated their victories, stood beside them through life’s challenges, and loved each of them with all her heart. Her siblings were among her greatest treasures, and the memories they created together will forever remain a source of strength and comfort.

Though Autumn’s physical presence is no longer with us, the love she poured into each of her brothers and sisters will continue to live on in their hearts. Her spirit will forever remind them to stay strong, love one another deeply, and always cherish the gift of family.

Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that Autumn’s beautiful spirit, radiant smile, and unconditional love will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will forever be loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
