Mr. Arthur Lee Alston, age 84 of 328 South Small Street, Pittsboro, NC passed Sunday, September 9, 2018 at UNC Hospitals Chapel Hill, NC.

Arthur Lee Alston departed this life on September 9, 2018.  Arthur Lee, as he was lovingly known, resided in Pittsboro with his wife of forty-one years, Mrs. Peggy Alston.  He was a devoted member of the Pittsboro community from birth and blessed this same community with his kindness, generosity and service to anyone who was in need.

The Public viewing will be held on Monday at Knotts Funeral Home of Pittsboro.  The family will receive visitors from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. The Homegoing celebration will be held at Mt. Sinai AME Church on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 11:00 in the morning.
