Ms. Annie Lucille (McAuley) Hamer, age 84, of Sanford, NC, transitioned to eternal rest on Thursday, January 2, 2024, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories are two children, Sister Gwendolyn Miller of Chapel Hill, NC and Ricky Hamer of the home; grandchildren, Shawn McAuley, Tawonya Wiltshire, Antwon Hamer, Tiana Hamer, Jamal Miller (Nefertari); thirteen great-grandchildren; siblings, John Wayne McAuley (Edith), William McAuley, Huey McAuley, and Shirley McKeithan; very special friend of thirty plus years, John Henry McLean “PeeWee”; and a dear friend, Ms. Ollie McIver; and a host of family, friends, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends at 14126 McDougald Road, Sanford, NC and also at 1525 Winslow Drive, Sanford, NC.
