Annie Lee (Nickerson) Baldwin

Annie Lee Nickerson Baldwin "Sista", age 90, of Pittsboro, NC entered eternal rest Friday, June 25, 2021, at Genesis Siler City Center, Siler City, NC where she resided since 2011.

Annie was born in Pittsboro to William and Minnie Nickerson on June 14th, 1931. She attended some schooling. However, in her late teens, she met and married Bernice (Boot) Baldwin. From this union were birthed, 2 Boys and 1 Girl. Annie was a devoted wife, homemaker, housekeeper and was employed as a Food Preparer at Northwood High School in Pittsboro.  Those talents helped her be successful after retirement in being the "Candy Lady” and the "Plate Lady" in her community. Cooking, baking, and serving were some of her favorite pass times.  You could always count on Annie to have some chicken in the oven and a cake on the counter. 

Annie is preceded in death by her husband; Bernice Baldwin, brothers; Ben Nickerson, Pete (Ross) Nickerson, Raymond Nickerson, John Nickerson, Herbert Nickerson, sisters; Omie Lee Alston, Zella Phillips parents; William C. Nickerson & Minnie B.Nickerson

Annie is survived by her children; John W.” Punkin” Baldwin, Mable B. Alston (Johnny), and James L.“Toot” Baldwin (Cindy), her grandchildren; Marsha A Baldwin (Caregiver), Devon Riggsbee, W. LeVar Alston(Skylar), James ”Lee Lee” Baldwin Jr, J. Rashod Spruiell (Sheleda), Keynada Baldwin, Angela N. Johnson (step-granddaughter), Thomas Baldwin, adopted grandson; James (Cindy), her great-grandchildren; D.Malik Carver, Asaru P. Baldwin-Fields, Kauslyn L.A. Carver, Talia Riggsbee, Alayna Riggsbee, Devon Riggsbee Jr, Jeremiah Burnette, Jaslyn Baldwin, Tristyn Baldwin, Aniyah Baldwin & Amiya Spruiell, her sister; Carlene Farrar and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws
