Ann was married to the late Valmoe Wilcox.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Jean Brooks Branch and two brothers, Odell Brooks (Rose) and Delphus Brooks.

Ann is survived by her son, Bobby Lewis Brooks of Burlington, NC; grandchildren, Symona Butler of Lillington, NC, Fred (Brooks) Lawson (Lorita), and Nicole Brooks; a host of great grands and great-great grands siblings, Lawanda Carter (Tom) of Anderson Creek, NC, Robin Brooks of Sanford, NC, Harold Brooks of Sanford, NC, Tyrone Brooks (Agnes) of Sanford, NC, and Anthony Brooks of Sanford, NC; and special cousins, Elnora, Jean, Connie, and Pat.
