Ms. Alma Jean McNeill, age 79, of Sanford, North Carolina, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

The Obituary

Alma Jean McNeill was born on May 29, 1946, to the late Theodore F. McNeill and the late Irene Taylor in Sanford, NC.

She attended W.B. Wicker School.  Alma was a devoted member of Works for Christ Christian Center for many years. She was also on the Mother's Board at the church. She loved to cook and try new recipes.

Alma was preceded in death by her brothers, Theodore, Thurman, and Eronus McNeill.

She is survived by her sister, Hazel Foushee; nephews, Brandon Funderburk, Jashun Jones, Eronus McNeill, Jr., and Jason McNeill; nieces, Rona Anderson (Robert), Wendy Smith (Hayden), Tiffany Bibb (Ike), Eronda Maina (Matthew), and Erica McNeill; aunts, Beulah Matthews and Ellen McCrimmon; four special friends, Ora Welch, Bettie Gilmore, T.C. Pearson, and Earl Flynn; beloved caretakers, Terrika Crosby, Julie Rose, Arlene Johnson, Latanya Cameron, Angie Page, and Brandy Bertram; and a host of other relatives and friends.
