Allen Junior Judd

Mr. Allen Junior Judd, age 75 of Broadway, NC transitioned to eternal rest on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Sanford Manor in Sanford, NC.

The Obituary

Mr. Allen Judd was born on May 20, 1949, to the late Roosevelt and Virginia Judd Jones in Harnett County NC.

He enlisted in the US Army on April 8, 1974. While in the service he was a chef. Due to an injury Mr. Judd was honorably discharged on July 29, 1974.

Allen resided in California for several years, after which he relocated to Durham, NC and eventually made Mamers, NC his permanent residence.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Ella Jones (Molly); three brothers, Lindsey Jones (Chuck), James Jones (Glema), and Roosevelt Jones (Peanut).

Allen leaves to cherish his memories four sisters, Avenelle Grice (Arthur) of Fuquay Varina, NC, Janice Lyons (Lewis) of Lillington, NC, Regina Judd of Raleigh, NC, and Socora Jones of Fuquay Varina, NC; one brother, Wallace Jones of Durham, NC; a special nephew that he always called his son, Arthur Lee Grice, Jr. (Buddy) whom he held close to his heart; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Allen leaves so many memories of being an imprint of his memorable swing dancing at all the family gatherings. Uncle Tom you will be missed every day. We love you!
