Alfreda Jane Ray

Ms. Alfreda Jane Ray, age 46 of Sanford, NC transitioned to eternal rest on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at her residence.

Alfreda Ray was born in Sampson County, NC to the late Eddie Lee Butler and Jane Ellen Ray. Alfreda was one of four children.

Alfreda was a family member of PineRidge Group Home. Alfreda had an old spirit and soul about her. She loved listening to gospel music. She was a burst of energy and a pleasure to be around. To know Alfreda was to love Alfreda. Alfreda was very protective and had genuine love for you. Alfreda will be truly missed.

Alfreda was preceded in death by her father Eddie Lee Butler.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son, mother, one brother, and two sisters.
