Albert Eugene Chesney

Mr. Albert Eugene Chesney, age 88, transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at his residence.

Albert Eugene (Meat) Chesney 88, was born March 7, 1933, to the late Julian and Connie Chesney. He departed this life on May 19, 2021.

Albert was an easy-going, very lovable, and funny person, although everyone didn’t know about the funny side of him. He met Sarah Snipes early in life
and they got married in 1995. He was a giving man who always was willing to help family members in need. He loved his family and the family
members always teased and picked with him when visiting. Albert was always a hard-working man until his health started failing him.
For many years he worked at sawmills and later began working for himself in the pulpwood industry. He loved fishing and playing cards. He will surely be
missed by all that knew him.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Connie Chesney, two sons, Steve and John Chesney, three sisters, Ernestine Chesney, Emma
McIver, and Shirley Chesney. Four brothers, Robert, Julian, Garrett, Henry Lee Chesney. Albert helped raise many other children who are now deceased,
Billie McSwain, Nancy Baldwin, Elion Evans, Roland McIver, George McIver, Billy Richmond, and Octavia Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Sarah Chesney, two sons, Jimmie McIver (Sheron), and Larry Chesney. Two daughters, Belinda Tuck and
Deborah Newby. Daughter- in-law Kathleen McIver. A brother, Jerry Chesney (Stella), and a sister, Leola Worthy. Also, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
